River City Roll 2007

Our first-ever River City Roll, held on June 2, 2007, was a smashing success. Themed as the "World's Fair," this event "celebrated the wheels of possibility" for Kansans with disabilities and raised more than $94,000 for the CPRF Daniel M. Carney Rehabilitation Engineering Center. The Carney Center aids more than 600 Kansans each year by designing, manufacturing and repairing customized wheelchairs.

With nearly 400 people in attendance, CPRF was able to heighten community awareness of the continuous funding needs and the extraordinary benefits of customized wheelchairs for both children and adults with a variety of disabilities.
